I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was excellent as I was able to walk to various destinations, including the Opera House, within a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, and the room was spacious and clean. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast served in the beautiful conservatory and the helpfulness of the staff.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Quaint bed and breakfast. Friendly owner. Beautiful old house and very nice location.
No elevator -- had to carry luggage to 3rd floor. No room service or exercise room. It's a bed a breakfast which wasn't clear from the website. If you're looking for a full service hotel, you'll be disappointed.

The staff were brilliant - all on hand with hints, tips and suggestions for places to go and things to do. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious and the whole hotel was charming.
The daily 6am dustbin collections outside our window, and the people who felt it necessary to rev their engines to the maximum when driving past in the small hours. Travellers who are not broad-minded should also consider avoiding the nearby Kings Cross area (Potts Point itself is lovely).

The owners took personal interest in the clients. The room was ready ahead of time and their information with maps and brochures was excellent. They offered free wi-fi which was also a big help with airline reservations and e-mail home to the US! Thank you

Reminded us of our home, very cosy and welcoming. Location was pretty good; a reasonable walk to the centre of Sydney through the botanical gardens until early evening and close to public transport and local Kings X shops.

Tranquility, style, friendly staff. Easy, free and stable wifi.
Steep direct pedestrian access to CBD may not appeal to the elderly or immobile but otherwise an easy 15 minutes to the Art Gallery and Botanical Gardens. Limited parking.

This hotel is very charming and such a better choice than a large chain hotel. Being located in the Potts Point neighborhood is a plus, with easy walking to the harbor, museums, the botanic garden and nearby shopping and dining locations.
The hotel can be a little noisy with people coming and going. Next time I would ask for a room on the top floor, if possible.

Lovely small "b&b" hotel. The building itself is historic and beautiful. It has a charming sitting area with free computer access. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Ree was extremely helpful in helping us with directions and suggestions. I appreciated her being there to say good-bye when our cab arrived to leave for the airport. Just a small touch, but nice. The location was excellent. We found good restaurants and shops nearby. I would definitely suggest Simpsons to anyone traveling to Sydney.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel in a fantastic area of Sydney. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to popular attractions like the opera house and art gallery. Plus, there were some incredible dining options nearby, such as the amazing Yellow restaurant. Another great feature of this place was the onsite parking, which was a real bonus. The service here was top-notch, with Damien in the kitchen going above and beyond to provide a wonderful breakfast experience. The rooms were beautifully designed and had all the necessary amenities, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. I was also impressed with the attention to detail in the Victorian period features and the complimentary port and sherry. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making my stay here truly enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

A different experience, more personal/homely/relaxed/classy/quiet/intimate to that of the traditional hotel stay.

Unsophisticated and casual. Very classy public room(s) - good breakfast facilities and service.
Bedroom was scruffy with no wardrobe space and no drawer space. Hotel advertised "Free WiFi throughout" but it proved impossible to maintain any kind of effective connection, anywhere. When mentioned to the owner it produced a shrug of the shoulders !!!
